Jessica Roark

Jessica Roark is about to graduate with her MFA in Acting from Northern Illinois University. 


Jessica hails from Oklahoma, where she worked for Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park (Hermia/Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream; Dorcas in The Winter’s Tale) and graduated with her BFA in Theatre Performance from the University of Central Oklahoma.


Other favorite roles include Dolly Madison in Our Lives in Letters: A WWII Perspective, Gwendolen Fairfax in The Importance of Being Earnest, Lizzie Curry in The Rainmaker, Tess Moffat in Blue Stockings, and Bianca in The Taming Of the Shrew


After graduation, Jessica plans to move to Chicago, where she is a company member at MUSE Theatre Collective, and will be in the ensemble of their production of BENT, and will be Portia in their upcoming Julius Caesar
